"Helped 12 customers in 3 months" beats "rapidly growing." Specifics earn trust. Vague growth language is the linguistic move of someone with nothing to back it.
Audiences clock the staged-vulnerability post immediately. If you wouldn't say it to one person across a kitchen table, don't say it to ten thousand on a feed.
"Helping nurses on twelve-hour shifts" beats "disrupting healthcare." Specific names land. Vague verbs evaporate. The narrower the customer, the wider the audience.
Don't cross-post the same content to LinkedIn and TikTok. Each platform rewards a different shape. One post per platform, written for that platform.
Building in public is real marketing if you are building real things. Stop waiting for the launch to start the story. The launch is one post in a long thread.
Comments are where trust is built. A thoughtful reply on day one is worth more than a thousand impressions on day thirty. The audience reads the replies.
Claim something, find out the data is different, post the correction. Don't quietly delete. The willingness to correct in public is what makes the rest of the feed credible long-term.

Stealth mode is what you call a project before you have to pitch it. It is not a positioning statement. The audience reads it as "I have nothing to show."
"Just a small thing I built over the weekend that now serves 50,000 users." The flex is louder than direct ambition would have been. Drop the false framing.
"I was at a dinner party and someone said..." Audiences smell a manufactured inciting incident three lines in. If the story is real, the specifics carry it. If you need to invent, don't.
"$50B market" with no segmentation. Audiences who matter know you cannot address the whole market and do not want to. Name the slice you can actually win first.
Saying AI does not differentiate. The thing AI lets you do that nothing else does is the only differentiator. Name THAT, not the buzzword.
Sharing screenshots of people praising you reads as needy. The audience can find the praise on its own. Let it speak for itself.
Thought leadership is something the audience grants. Claiming it forecloses it. Show the thinking; let the label arrive on its own time.
Specific kinds of content that cross from "founder voice" into legal exposure, broken trust, or burnt rounds.
Legal exposure plus reputational damage. Get permission in writing every time. "They were happy" is not permission to put their logo or name in a feed.
Revenue, churn, CAC, runway numbers shared accidentally can move competitors and investors against you in ways you cannot undo. Share what you decide to share, not what spilled.
Naming them raises them and hands them airtime. Even when you are right. Name the problem in the market, not the company that has it.
Violates expectations of confidentiality founders are typically legally required to maintain. Can burn the round, the relationship, and future term sheets at once.
